Dear Comrades,
This is regarding one time relaxation in minimum qualifying service conditions for promotion to HSG-II cadre which is being pursued strongly by AIPEU, Group-C, CHQ.
In this connection, we got an opportunity to have a discussion on 02.12.2020 with Dr. S K Kamila, Member (P) who is presently on visit to Odisha Circle. We discussed thoroughly especially regarding the financial implication on this issue. As per our opinion, there may not be any financial implication if relaxation is given to those officials who have completed 3 years of regular service in LSG Cadre since after implementation of Cadre Restructuring Proposal for Group-C Postal Employees in 2017, maximum employees with pay level Rs.4200/- and Rs.4600/- got the LSG promotion.
Member (P) gave a patient hearing and we hope that this time, the issue will soon take a positive move .
As ascertained from Circle Office, Bhubaneswar, Odisha Circle has already submitted the required proforma information since 02.12.2020.
