Circle Union writes to the Chief PMG on irregular absorption of Grade – III postmasters against HSG-I posts in Odisha Circle

Sub:-  Irregular absorption of Grade – III postmasters against HSG-I posts in Odisha Circle. 

Respected Sir,

                        It has come to the notice of this Circle Union that two Grade – III Postmasters who were suspended for the reasons known to the administration have now been reinstated and absorbed irregularly against vacant HSG-I Posts.

            While one has been absorbed as Manager (HSG-I), PSD, Sambalpur another as APM (Mails) (HSG-I), Baripada HO, Mayurbhanj.

            It is needless to intimate that 18 numbers of Grade-III posts and 96 numbers of HSG-I posts have been identified in Odisha Circle and the officials opted for these cadres are to be rotated within the respective cadres only.

            Thus, the above irregular absorption of Grade - III officials against HSG-I posts has decreased the number of HSG-I posts from 96 to 94 and increased the number of Grade – III posts from 18 to 20 in Odisha Circle which is against the spirit of original orders issued for the purposes by the Postal Directorate.

            Therefore, we would like to request you to cancel the above irregular order of absorption of Grade – III officials against HSG-I posts giving justice to the HSG-I general line officials and keeping the original sanctioned strength as usual in respective cadres.
