in giving promotion to LSG Cadre under the Cadre Restructuring proposal for
Group-C postal employees in Odisha Circle.

It
has come to the notice of this Circle Union that 20 officials of Bhubaneswar Division
who were promoted regularly to LSG Cadre
vide C O Memo dated 21.12.2017 referred to above (From Sl. No. 100 to 119 in
Part – II of the Memo) have been
allotted to Puri and Cuttack South Division.
Subsequently
another such Memo was released by C O on 05.01.2018 where in 3 officials of
Bhubaneswar Division (Sl. No. 6 to 8 in Part – II of the Memo) who rank pretty
junior to the above 20 officials have been allotted to Bhubaneswar Division.
Since
both the memos are meant for regular promotion to LSG Cadre, had the same been
done at a time, at least 3 officials from Sl. No. 100 to 103 in Part – II of
the Memo dated 21.12.2017 could have been accommodated in Bhubaneswar Division.
Thus, all the above three
officials allotted to Puri Division need to be accommodated in Bhubaneswar
Division.
The above case of
Bhubaneswar Division is an illustrative one which might have occurred in other
Divisions also.
Therefore,
this Circle Union requests for immediate modification of the Memo dated
21.12.2017 and to give justice to the senior most officials allotted to other
Divisions in the said Memo by accommodating them in their parent Divisions.
