Sub:-  Request for rescheduling the cutoff date(s) of joining of all promoted / transferred officials due to complete lockdown of the entire State / Country to contain spread of COVID-19

Respected Sir,

This is to bring to your kind notice that the Circle Office in the recent past has issued various orders in connection with promotion ( PA to LSG) and rotational transfer of several cadres (LSG / HSG-II / HSG-I)  fixing the cutoff date(s) of joining. Similarly, the Divisional / Sub-Divisional Heads are also issuing Rotational Transfer orders ( PAs / LSGs) and covering Memos for the officials promoted  to various cadres (GDS / MTS / Postman / MG to PA / SA  and GSD to Postman / MTS / MG).

Several Cutoff dates of joining on transfer / promotion have been fixed during the month of April, 2020.

But as aware, since the entire nation including the State of Odisha is now under complete lockdown for next 21 days from 24.03.2020 midnight to contain the spread of COVID-19, it is not possible on the part of any official to move anywhere to join by the cutoff dates.

Therefore, it is requested kindly to reschedule the cutoff dates of joining for all officials who have been promoted or transferred suitably after restoration of normalcy in the state / country with necessary instructions to all the Regional / Divisional Heads to act accordingly.
