Emergent online CWC of AIPEU, Gr-C, CHQ concluded successfully on 10.01.2021

Dear Comrades,

There was an emergent online Central Working Committee meeting of AIPEU, Gr-C, CHQ today (10.01.2022) at 15.00 hours to discuss on the current issues including the unjust Charge-sheet issued in the last working day i.e. 31.12.2021 of the service career of Com. R N Parashar, our Ex-Secretary General, NFPE and our Ex-General Secretary, AIPEU, Gr-C, CHQ and on successful conductance of the forthcoming two days nationwide strike on 23-24 February, 2022.

The CWC was inaugurated by Com. R N Parashar, Secretary General, Confederation of Central Govt. Employees and Workers presided by Com. N Subramanian, All India President CHQ.

Except few Circle Secretaries / CHQ office bearers, all had joined through online mode and gave their valuable contributions condemning the attitude of the Department to tarnish the image of NFPE in the name of unjust charge-sheet to its beloved Secretary General. Details will be published in CHQ website.

On behalf of Odisha Circle, Com. B Samal, Circle Secretary and All India Organizing General Secretary participated in the virtual CWC and strongly condemned the atrocious activities in the form of Rule-14 Charge-Sheet against Sri R N Parashar, Ex-Secretary General NFPE, CHQ and Ex-General Secretary, AIPEU, Group-C, CHQ on the date of his superannuation retirement on 31.12.2021. Com. Parashar is not only the General Secretary of AIPEU, Gr-C, CHQ and Secretary General, NFPE, but also the Secretary General of Confederation of Central Govt. Employees and Workers having as many as 126 Unions, Associations and Federations with one crore members including pensioners. He is an institution. Thus, the above illegal action taken by UP Circle administration cannot be considered as an action against any individual in the name of Com. R N Parashar. It has tarnished the image of NFPE and Confederation of Central Govt. Employees and Workers which needs to be protested by any means. On behalf of Odisha Circle, we assured to extend any kind of support to save the dignity of the post of Secretary General, NFPE.

Besides, we discussed on the following issues also.

1.    Modification of Charter of Demands of NFPE with addition of implementation of 5 working days in a week in all Post and RMS Offices for which we have already written earlier.

2.    Till restoration of normalcy in COVID-19 pandemic, there should be

i.               Reduced Working hours in all Post and RMS Offices

ii.              Stoppage of all biometric transactions including IPPB, Aadhaar Enrollment and Updation, delivery through PMA, POPSK and AEPS etc

iii.             No rotational transfer for 2022, or if done, no hurried implementation

3.    Change of nomenclature while going for new recruitment rules for PAs/SAs.

4.    Cadre restructuring issues including grant of Rs.5400/- Pay level to all HSG-I NFG officials who have completed continuous service of 4 years in Rs.4800 pay level.

5.    Proposed non-gazzetted Group-B Association

All points have been noted suitably by the CWC with assurance to modify NFPE’s charter of demand after Federal Executive meeting adding implementation of 5 working days in a week in all Post and RMS Offices.

A committee was formed including this Circle Secretary / Org. GS to prepare a note of lapses of cadre restructuring especially on the above issue.

The vote of thanks was given by Com. Janardan Majumdar, Officiating General Secretary, CHQ.
