Circle Union writes to CHQ to appraise Directorate for rescheduling the dates of LDCE for promotion to the cadre of Inspector of Posts

Sub:-Change of dates for conducting LDCE for promotion to IP cadre scheduled to be held on 19^th & 20^th October, 2019 for the year 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018 (01.04.2018 to 31.12.2018)

Respected Comrade,

          You might be aware that the Directorate vide its Notification under reference is going to conduct the LDCE for promotion to IP cadre on 19^th & 20^th October, 2019 for the year 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018 (01.04.2018 to 31.12.2018) for vacancies of 124, 181 and 141 posts respectively.

          In this context, it is needless to intimate you that we are going to conduct our 32^nd AIC at Hyderabad from 20^th to 22^nd October, 2019 which will be attended by more than 3000 delegates and visitors from the P A cadre across the country amongst whom there might be so many aspirants for the above examination.

          Thus, conducting the LDCE for promotion to IP Cadre on 19^th and 20^th October, 2019 coinciding our 32^nd AIC will certainly put our young comrades into an embarrassing situation. Many of such comrades may not prefer to attend the AIC at the cost of their career.

          Therefore, to safeguard the interest of our young comrades aspiring for the cadre of Inspector of Posts, it is requested to appraise the Directorate to shift the above examination to some other dates found them suitable after our AIC.
